Students must be punctual and regular. No student may remain absent without prior permission from the Principal/Coordinator.
Students absent due to sickness or unavoidable reasons must report back with written permission from the Principal/Coordinator. A Medical Certificate is mandatory in case of illness.
A student absent for one week continuously without permission will be marked as LEFT. Re-admission is not automatic and, if permitted, will require payment of a ₹1,000 re-admission fee.
Leave letters must be addressed to the Principal and submitted through the Coordinator. Medical leave must be accompanied by a Medical Certificate.
Students will not be permitted to leave the school early, except for genuine medical appointments.
In case of sudden illness during school hours, prior permission must be obtained from the Principal. The absence record signed by the parent/guardian must be submitted to the Class Teacher on the next working day.
Students must not absent themselves on the reopening day, closing day of the term, or immediately after holidays such as Christmas, Deepavali, Pongal, etc.
Absence during examinations or tests will be taken seriously. Applications with a Medical Certificate must be submitted in person by the parent to the Principal/Coordinator on the same day. No re-test or re-examination will be conducted.
Students must maintain a minimum of 85% attendance during the academic year. Failure to do so may result in detention from the final examination.
