SCOUTS & GUIDES CAMP DATE: 28/11/2017
RRIS is happy to announce that they have started with the scouts and guides. We had 62 (21 girls and 41 boys) children who participated in a camp held at Lower Camp Government school from 24th to the 27th of November 2017. This was their first experience. They had a great learning experience, adapting to new environment, people learning new songs and the various guidelines associated with the scouts and guides training.
The benefits of training are numerous like being physically active, earn advancement and experience success, unplug with technology and reconnect with nature, conquer fear and try new things, explore careers and develop life-long skills, be creative and productive, grow more independent, build social skills and develop teamwork, enhance their spiritual growth, make true friends, have lots of fun and finally become more awesome.
They visited various places in and around the camp. In the overall performance, RRIS Guides got the first place and Scouts the second place.
